For every $1 that is spent on gaming machines, by law up to 92 cents is returned to the player. The remainder is generated as revenue. From these net proceeds raised, Gaming Trusts are legally required to distribute 40% to the community by way of grants. Infinity Foundation continually exceeds this minimum rate of return and we consider this target continually as we operate – it is our clear mantra to deliver maximum returns to the community. Additionally the Government collects duties, levies and GST which all contribute to the operation of the administrative arm of the nation. The balance of the revenue goes to the venue where the gaming machines are located and the Trusts that administer the licences. A maximum of 16% of the gaming proceeds is permitted to be paid to gaming venues.
